“Mesmerizing” — The Atlantic
Quixotic is an innovative performance art collective that fuses imagination with technology, dance, projection mapping, and live music to create fully-immersive, multi-sensory experiences.
Quixotic was given Silicon Valley’s unofficial stamp of genius when they were invited to perform at the global TED Conference in 2012. A unique blend of performance art, technology, and emotion, Quixotic fuses all these elements into what The New York Times branded an “innovative circus performance,” and Men’s Journal declared “one of the best contemporary [cirque] acts.” They have performed for audiences worldwide and have helped launch brand products for companies such as BVLGARI, Faena Hotels, Garmin, HP, Smithsonian, and Toyota.
Quixotic harnesses light, rhythm, and expressive emotion.

Anita Lang, Founder IMI Design
A sought-after interior designer, Anita Lang spearheads IMI Design, a premier luxury design firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. Lang believes that good design elevates the human spirit. She brings a design philosophy of emotional intention behind every space she crafts. Since founding her firm in 1992, she has chosen to create spaces that speak as an extension of the people that dwell within them, eschewing both the simply functional and passing trends.
Under her leadership, IMI Design expanded its luxury residential and commercial design throughout the United States, Mexico, and Costa Rica. The growing project roster includes luxurious residences, restaurants, club houses, spas, and midrise developments, earning the company a strong reputation for acumen in architectural detailing, materiality, bespoke appointments, and the artful curation of furnishings and art.
The exceptional skillset and talent behind the designs has been recognized through numerous accolades. In 2020, Lang became a centurion recipient of awards from the American Society of Interior Design, receiving her 107th award that year. In 2021, she was named Master of the Southwest by Phoenix Home and Garden. Her work has been showcased on upscale lifestyle television programs and she has been published more than 50 times in numerous shelter magazines. Her passion for refined taste in materials and furnishings is exemplified through her own product line offered through her company, Design 528, which includes a range of bespoke furnishings.
Community involvement and support of charitable organizations has been a benchmark of Lang’s career. In 2007, she established a nonprofit organization, the Inspire Foundation, which combines the talents of designers, architects, and artisans—along with educational institutes and students—to help support the community and bring the power of design to the lives of the distressed, especially women and children. As an art proponent, Lang supports many organizations and causes, locally and internationally, and currently serves on the board of directors of The Walter Hive. Feeling blessed by the incredible opportunities her creative career has provided, she feels compelled to forward the channels of the arts as much as possible to bring self-expression, empowerment, and joy to others.
