Scottsdale Arts celebrates the love of art through February events

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — This February, Scottsdale Arts embraces the love of art and art lovers alike with new, exciting events.
February starts with the two-day public art dance event Trolley Dances with Movement Source Dance Company on Feb. 1 and 2. The SunPunchers perform the third part of their four-part residency on Feb. 8 with “Murder Ballads” — tales of passion and penance through the centuries.
Audiences can celebrate Valentine’s Day with Scottsdale Arts through a range of events, from spending the day of love with The Wailin’ Jennys to a public art scavenger hunt and tour that will end with a Valentine’s art activity. And extend the holiday atmosphere with a Valentine’s Day-inspired show from Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra on Feb. 16.
The following is a list of events and exhibitions from Scottsdale Arts, a nonprofit organization comprising Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), Scottsdale Public Art, Scottsdale Arts Learning & Innovation, Canal Convergence and Civic Center LIVE.
