Scottsdale Arts unveils a dynamic November lineup of exciting events, exhibitions

Scottsdale Arts continues the 2024–25 season with a string of must-see events, including engaging comedy acts, mesmerizing musical performances, and the 12th annual Canal Convergence light art festival.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Scottsdale Arts continues the 2024–25 season with a string of must-see events, including engaging comedy acts, mesmerizing musical performances, and the 12th annual Canal Convergence light art festival.
Canal Convergence and Dreamy Draw Music Festival kick off the shoulder season outdoor events while Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts welcomes Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Joshua Radin and Ron Pope, Aimee Mann, Cristela Alonzo and Marc Broussard to its intimate indoor theater.
The following is a list of events and exhibitions from Scottsdale Arts, a nonprofit organization comprising Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, SMoCA, Scottsdale Public Art, Scottsdale Arts Learning & Innovation, Canal Convergence, and Civic Center LIVE. PERFORMANCES AND EVENTS
Dreamy Draw Music Festival Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2, 2024, 1–11 p.m. Scottsdale Civic Center Tickets start at $75/single day or $135/weekend Inspired by the vibrant Southwestern spirit of Arizona, the two-day Dreamy Draw Music Festival celebrates the harmonious fusion of country and Americana. Headliners include Mt. Joy, Flatland Calvary, Shakey Graves, Charles Wesley Godwin and Paul Cauthen.
Canal Convergence Friday, Nov. 8, through Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, 6–10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 6–9 p.m. Sundays and Monday through Thursday Scottsdale Waterfront Free This free, outdoor, 10-night public art event features immersive, large-scale, light-based artworks, as well as educational workshops, family-friendly activities, art tours, live music and dance performances, a mini film festival, a beer and wine garden, food trucks and more.
Books2Boogie with HeART Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, 10:30 a.m. Scottsdale Civic Center Free Children and their caregivers participate in music, movement and song in this program that promotes bonding and highlights the natural rhythms in language.
Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra An American Celebration Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, 4 p.m. Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art Tickets start at $15 Join Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra for “An American Celebration,” featuring music by American composers and a special salute to veterans in honor of Veterans Day.
Memory Lounge Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, 1:30 p.m. Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts Tickets start at $10 Create art and make memories with Memory Lounge, an arts-based program for people with mild to moderate memory loss and their care partners.
