Creative Activities at Canal Convergence 2026
Whether you’re learning from a Canal Convergence artist at one of our paid workshops or free drop-in workshops at the Nationwide Innovation Zone or trying out a creative activity with a community partner at the Scottsdale Arts Roundabout, we have a variety of fun things to do during the 10-day festival.
Select workshops require a fee and registration. Drop-in workshops and community partner activities are free of charge and no registration is required.

This year we're exploring our 2026 theme of “Western Nature” with workshops led by Indigenous and Latinx artists and organizations whose work is informed by cultural and historical practices of the region.
Most workshops are held in the Nationwide Innovation Zone. Please arrive 15 minutes early.

Community Partner Activities
Free / No registration required
The Scottsdale Arts Roundabout at Marshall Way will feature free, western-related engagements for all ages, hosted by community partner organizations, including CALA Alliance, Monara Center, RUMBO, Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale, S'edav Va'aki Museum Foundation, and others. Attendees can also find The Store at Canal Convergence in the roundabout.
Working West — Dress-Up Space

Original Landlords presents Working West, an interactive fashion and cultural activation at the Nationwide Innovation Zone, created for Canal Convergence 2026.
