Noon–1:30 p.m.: Megan Diana (disco country)

Megan Diana
Megan Diana is pioneering the genre of dream-country-disco! Take your favorite vintage keyboard—hello Wurlitzer 200A—put it through an echo/delay pedal, add lush layers of French horn and vocals, anchor it all with throwback drum grooves, and top it off with glittery pedal steel. After the release of her debut album, Women in My Head, Megan Diana has been hard at work touring the world and sharing music from her second album, Cabin Fever. Follow her at @HelloMeganDiana.
After earning a music degree from Arizona State University in 2018, multi-instrumentalist Bailey Zick has become a fixture in the Valley music scene. His technical ability and intuitive approach to improvisation has wowed audiences across the United States and abroad. Zick has worked with artists such as John Dietrich (Deerhoof), Los Esplifs, Lewis Nash, Alex Oliverio, Sydney Sprague, Wheelwright, Jerusafunk, and Sunn Trio.
Nolan McKelvey
Nolan McKelvey is a singer-songwriter and bassist, performing original songs solo, with his band, and with Mark Zubia (Pistoleros) and Jesse Valenzuela (Gin Blossoms). His newest album is How Small We Are, and his set for Sun & Sounds will be its Valley debut. How Small We Are was produced by the core band of PH Naffah (Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers), Jeff Lusby-Breault (Enormodome), and McKelvey himself. It includes appearances from some of the most talented musicians in the Phoenix area, including Jesse Valenzuela (Gin Blossoms), Jon Rauhouse (Neko Case, Old 97’s, SunPunchers), Nick Sterling (Wyves), and Stephanie Groot (Mark Zubia Trio, Dusty Ramblers). How Small We Are builds on the momentum of his previous effort, Forward, about which Americana Highways wrote, “His voice is inspired and his reliance on poignancy is admirable.”
