Soulful Louisiana blues meets raucous rock 'n' roll

Tickets on sale Friday, April 24, 12 p.m. AZT.

If you like the R&B-soaked vocals of Anderson East, the blue-rock firepower of Marcus King, or the emotionally raw Americana-soul of Chris Stapleton, you’ll love the bayou soul of Marc Broussard.

His soulful groove is smooth, but there’s a bit of rock ’n’ roll grit in there too. Incorporating funk, blues, and R&B into his fiery performances, the acclaimed singer-songwriter brings both intimacy and power to his unique brand of Southern-fried soul. Recent collaborators include Joe Bonamassa and JJ Grey.

In concert, Broussard’s emotive vocals range from quiet tenderness to passionate intensity, sometimes within a single song as he unleashes energy in the form of music, and the audience reflects it back.

“His music radiates soulful Louisiana blues, but his songs blend those influences with raucous rock 'n' roll to create unique and infectious music.” — NPR

About the Artist

Marc Broussard nurtured his musical gifts at an early age in the vibrant Lafayette, Louisiana, music scene. After releasing a highly successful independent EP at age 20, he made his major-label debut with Carencro. The album featured the breakout hit “Home” and propelled him into the international spotlight. In addition to eight albums of original music, Broussard has released several charitable cover albums via his S.O.S. Foundation (Save our Soul). S.O.S.4: Blues for Your Soul, his collaboration with blues icon Joe Bonamassa, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Albums Chart. His most recent releases are 2024’s Time Is a Thief, a collection of 10 original tunes that showcase his gritty, rootsy hooks and infectious grooves, and his fifth S.O.S. album, subtitled Songs of the '50s. Released in February 2026, S.O.S. V includes 11 intoxicating renditions of soul, blues, rock, and pop classics from the 1950s, two gems from the early ’60s, and a Broussard original.
