Experiment with the same tools and surfaces used by the artist
Join artist Mark McDowell for an immersive workshop exploring his distinctive practice of drawing with colored pencils on birch plywood and wood slices.
The program begins with a gallery walkthrough where McDowell will discuss his work, materials, and long-standing studio processes. Participants will then enjoy 1.5 hours of guided creative time, experimenting with the same tools and surfaces he uses in his own art. Discover how wood grain, texture, and color shape expressive mark-making!
All materials will be provided. This workshop welcomes both beginners and experienced artists.
