About the Artist
American pianist Jeffrey Siegel has been soloist with the world’s great orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, Moscow State Symphony, Amsterdam’s Concertgebow, NHK Symphony of Japan, and all the major orchestras of London, in addition to domestic engagements with the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Siegel has collaborated with many of the pre-eminent conductors of our time, as well as legendary maestros of the past. A passionate communicator and performer, Siegel has presented Keyboard Conversations for nearly six decades. His numerous albums are available on CD, and his Keyboard Conversations®: Piano Treasures, a Time Life production that has been broadcast by PBS to more than 150 cities, is available on DVD. Born into a musical family, Siegel studied with Rudolf Ganz in his native Chicago, with the legendary Rosina Lhévinne at The Juilliard School, and, as a Fulbright Scholar, with Ilona Kabos in London. Siegel and his wife live in New York City. Jeffrey Siegel is a Steinway artist.
