Open Spaces: Fiber Arts Addressing the Landscape Closing Reception
Sep 24, 2026 / 5:00 p.m.
Join us for a free closing reception celebrating our recent exhibition Open Spaces: Fiber Arts Addressing the Landscape.
The afternoon features Creep, Slither, Soar, a movement-based performance in which five performers wearing Rothman's biomorphic animal masks will move through the space, blurring boundaries between audience and performer and embodying altered states, fluid identities, and the animalistic slippage between selves. Audience members are encouraged to move throughout the space during the performance.
This event invites the public into a reflective and inclusive environment, one that fosters creativity, embodiment, and meaningful connection as a resonant conclusion to Cybele Lyle: Floating Seeds Make Deep Forms.
