Biography: Andrea Stanley (Diné/Haakumeh/Honduran) initiated Anda’s Kitchen as a community offering to showcase her cultural backgrounds of Southwestern Indigenous and Latin/Caribbean foods. She is a mother and doula living and working in O’Odam Jeved (Phoenix). Stanley has more than 14 years of work experience in land restoration, Indigenous food sovereignty, and birthwork as a full-spectrum doula. Her collaborative pop-up kitchen experiences celebrate the intangible cultural heritage of food as medicine and as a creative culinary practice.
