Kicking off a cultural partnership between SMoCA (Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art) and Desert Design Week, this special evening offers the opportunity to experience Desert Perspectives, a collection-spanning exhibition examining how artists have represented, interpreted, and challenged our understanding of the Southwest over time.
SMoCA curator Keshia Turley will lead an intimate walkthrough of Desert Perspectives, offering an inside look at the exhibition and its shifting perspectives on landscape, ecology, identity, history, and the place we call home.
Guests will enjoy expertly crafted cocktails and chef-prepared bites by Lauren Allen Culinary designed to engage the senses and bring another dimension to the evening, while exploring the museum and exhibition after hours.
