In the fall of 1975, Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts opened its doors to the public with an inaugural concert by the “King of the Road” himself, Roger Miller. Now, 50 years later, another icon of Americana music will commemorate that golden anniversary as Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas perform during a special concert celebration. Touring behind their critically acclaimed new album Arcadia, Krauss (a twenty-seven-time Grammy winner) and company are at the top of their game with nominations in eight different categories at the 2025 IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards. This is a chance to hear one of the most influential acts in American roots music perform in one of the Southwest’s finest listening rooms. The Center’s intimate Virginia G. Piper Theater is known for its immaculate sound and wide-open sightlines. So, dress in your best golden Americana/Western chic apparel for a red-carpet arrival and exclusive cocktail reception prior to the concert, then stick around for a post-show nightcap to close out the evening in an elegant style that is distinctly Scottsdale!

About the Artists
Alison Krauss (fiddle, lead vocal), Jerry Douglas (Dobro, lap steel, vocals), Ron Block (banjo, guitar, vocals), Barry Bales (bass, vocals), and the newest member, celebrated tenor vocalist Russell Moore (guitar, mandolin, lead vocal), are five distinct personalities, each of whom enjoys a flourishing solo career. But when they come together, they transform into a peerless group of musicians who share a singular focus. For nearly four decades, Alison Krauss & Union Station have upheld their legacy as one of the most influential and widely celebrated acts in bluegrass and roots music. Known for an immaculately crafted but endlessly surprising sound that transcends the boundaries of roots, country, rock ’n’ roll, and pop, Alison Krauss & Union Station released their seventh studio album, Arcadia, in 2025—their first since the 2011 masterpiece Paper Airplane, a critically lauded, multiple Grammy-winning LP that debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country, Bluegrass, and Folk Album charts. Over the years, Alison Krauss & Union Station have brought their phenomenal live show to sold-out performances at famed venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Greek Theatre, Radio City Music Hall, and London’s Royal Festival Hall, in addition to supporting Paul Simon in Hyde Park for his 2012 Graceland reunion. They are now touring for the first time since 2015.
