The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) is an AAM-accredited, internationally recognized institution committed to creativity, collaboration, experimentation and exchange. SMoCA fosters meaningful connections across diverse communities by cultivating an inclusive space for conversation, curiosity, and shared understanding. Designed by award-winning architect Will Bruder, SMoCA’s minimalist building (a renovation of a former movie theater) has five galleries for showcasing changing exhibitions and works from the Museum’s growing permanent collection of art by local, national, and international artists.

Admission

Speed up your admission process by booking online and save $3, and Pay-what-you-wish on Thursdays and every second Saturday.

Non-members: $13 online, $16 walk-up.*

*Discounted online admissions will be ending in mid-November. Beginning in mid-November, online admissions will be the same cost as walk-up admissions. 

Students, seniors (65+), veterans, active duty-military, and teachers: $10 online, $13 walk-up.

Free admission for the following:

  • 18 years and younger (with valid ID)
  • ONE Members and guest pass holders
  • Active members in the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) program
