Quarter Ring Progression

Quarter Ring Progression is an abstract sculpture comprised of series of overlapping arcs made of Cor-Ten steel. Originally located in the Civic center Mall, the sculpture was moved to the Granite Reef Senior Center in 2007.
Michael Anderson was born in California and moved to Arizona in 1964. He attended Phoenix College and Arizona State University and started sculpting professionally in the early 1970’s. He is most recognized for his large-scale, dramatic works in steel. His sculptures are in public and private collections across the United States, as well as Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Australia and Zaire.
