Hummingbird Sanctuary
Kevin Berry (b. 1961)
Artist Kevin Berry created Hummingbird Sanctuary with five 16-foot-tall sculptures in the form of stylized trumpet vine flowers to create a sanctuary for hummingbirds and humans alike. Each spring, trumpet vines engulf the sculptures in attractive greenery and blossoms. Berry used Cor-ten steel, rebar, river rocks, and stained aggregate to create this peaceful area along Drinkwater Boulevard.
