Brown Ave Parking Structure Expansion Project

In the 2019 bond election, voters approved Project No. 63 to expand parking in Old Town Scottsdale. The funds will be used to add two levels to the Brown Avenue Parking Structure.  

As part of this project, Scottsdale Public Art has commissioned AREA C to create a permanent, site-specific public artwork to be affixed to a section of the parking structure's exterior facing 2nd Street.  

AREA C is a Providence, Rhode Island-based public art practice exploring the intersections of art, place, and community through multimedia installations and creative collaboration. To learn more, visit AreaCProjects.com.
