Scottsdale Public Art, a department of Scottsdale Arts, in partnership with consultant team Art Builds Community and Cirrus Collaborative LLC, has launched the process to develop a 10-year Public Art Plan for the City of Scottsdale.
The City of Scottsdale 10-year Public Art Plan will guide the integration of public art in civic and private development to continue the growth and engagement of this well-established program. The plan will focus on future public art funding and activities that support the City's cultural and development goals.
Building upon the work done by the Scottsdale Public Art staff, the process includes three phases, which began with community engagement in during the fall of 2025 and will continue with drafting in spring 2026 and conclude with presentation in fall 2026. This multi-phase project will culminate in a comprehensive 10-year Public Art Plan, guiding the future of public art in Scottsdale over the next ten years and in line with growth of the City.

Visit our booth at Scottsdale Family ArtsFest on March 6 and 7 to see the results of the data collected at our fall community engagement sessions. See artwork created by Arcadia High School Students, and talk to our staff about the status of the plan and current draft recommendations!
