The Future of Arts in Scottsdale Looks to You
Art inspires and sustains us | Art is our connection to humanity

The arts are so much more than a few hours of entertainment—they are our connection to humanity itself. As a nonprofit organization employing hundreds of artists, musicians, designers, technicians, teaching artists, and staff, we firmly believe that art is an essential part of life and a place of calm in an otherwise chaotic world.

Despite the heartbreaking cancellation of so many events and performances due to COVID-19, Scottsdale Arts is committed more than ever to serving our community with diverse, meaningful arts programming. However, we know that due to the intimacy of our artistry, our industry will be one of the last to fully recuperate from the lingering damage of this international pandemic.

We look to you, our community of arts lovers, for help in this critical moment.

If you can, please donate to the Scottsdale Arts COVID-19 Relief Fund to help our arts nonprofit and the thousands of artists, arts workers, and community members we support and employ each year to stabilize, reconnect, and recover.

Levels of Support:

Sponsor 850 Students for a Matinee

At the $5,000 level, your gift underwrites a virtual arts livestream concert for hundreds in our community who are facing isolation in their homes. This donation amount is equivalent to providing 850 students with access to a student matinee at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

Training 60 Teachers impacts 1,500+ Students

At the $2,500 level, you help provide transformational teacher training to 60 Arizona educators, facilitated by Scottsdale Arts Learning & Innovation. These virtual courses provide essential resources to our educators, who reach more than 1,500 students in local school districts.

Sponsor a Composer in the Classroom

At the $1,000 level, you are providing one early childhood classroom with the nationally recognized arts education program Wolf Trap. The program teaches a range of interactive, hands-on games and lessons over the course of seven weeks, where children learn core skills through the performing arts.

50 Therapeutic Arts Experiences

At the $500 level, you are providing impactful and therapeutic virtual arts experiences, facilitated by local artists to 50 Scottsdale residents living with mild to moderate dementia and their caretakers. This level of support also funds one lifetime scholarship for a docent at Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA).

Sponsor an Artist Talk or Live & Local

At the $200 level, your support covers the artist fees for a Live Local series performance or a virtual artist talk at SMoCA. This level of support also provides virtual professional development workshops and digital arts resources to 20 teachers serving grades K–12 in our local school districts.

Sponsor a Classroom at a Matinee

At the $100 level, you are providing complimentary admission for one class of 25 local elementary school students to experience an exclusive matinee performance at the Center. That donation value is also the equivalent of providing healthy lunch meals for 50 high school students in our Visions arts education program.

Sponsor a Pair of Veteran Tickets

At the $50 level, you are providing two free tickets for a live performance at the Center to a veteran, student, or teacher who would not otherwise be able to experience the magic of performing arts.
