Visions ’26 gives voice to the next generation of artists from across the Valley. Featuring 42 works by advanced high school art students, this exhibition is the culmination of a year-long mentorship ...
Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) holds in trust a collection that exceeds 2,000 artworks by more than 650 artists for the residents of Scottsdale. This exhibition highlights recent acquisitions to our ever-growing collection and celebrates the unexpected connections between works spanning a wide range of media. Varied approaches to themes of abstraction, the everyday, and the self emerge throughout the exhibition and invite us to reconsider the familiar.
Through the generosity of artists and donors, we continue to strengthen our collection with a particular focus on equity and diversity. This commitment ensures that future generations will have access to a rich array of art that reflects a broad spectrum of voices, experiences, and perspectives.
Organized by Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and curated by Julie Ganas, curator of engagement and digital initiatives, and Carrie Tovar, registrar and collections manager.
