Kennedy Center Partners in Education Teacher Training Workshops

Kennedy Center Partners in Education is a nationwide program designed to expand educational partnerships between community arts centers and local school districts, providing professional development opportunities for teachers. Scottsdale Arts, in partnership with Scottsdale Unified School District and Paradise Valley Unified School District, provides participatory workshops that help teachers learn techniques for integrating the arts into classroom curricula while documenting student progress. Workshops provide strategies to implement Arts Standards and the Arizona College and Career Ready Standards into daily lessons.

Teachers’ Night Out

You have survived the school year, so come celebrate at Teachers’ Night Out. Cheer on your peers as they share their successes and not-so-great successes of integrating the arts across their curricula. This casual, fun event will allow you to network with other teachers, swap lesson plans and relax in the SMoCA Lounge.
