#GivingTuesdayNow is a day of generosity and unity on May 5

Created in 2012, #GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world, with leaders who have launched more than 200 community campaigns across the United States and national movements in more than 60 countries.

#GivingTuesdayNow, on May 5, is a day of generosity and unity—a day to come together and give back in response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all backgrounds together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on.

This #GivingTuesdayNow, Scottsdale Arts is sharing tremendous thanks to arts lovers and advocates for their support in good times and in challenging times alike. Over the next week, keep an eye on our social media accounts and the Scottsdale Arts Connections blog for special shout-outs of immense gratitude to generous groups in our community who make the arts possible for all. And participate with us on #GivingTuesdayNow, May 5, for the opportunity to celebrate our shared humanity at a time when the world needs unity and hope above all.
