Get to know Scottsdale’s public art and win an exclusive Scottsdale Public Art coloring page

A Scottsdale Public Art family member tests out the Public Art POP Quiz prize: an exclusive coloring page of a Scottsdale Public Art permanent artwork. Birdie Umwelt by Mary Lucking coloring page created by Tanya Galin, artist and public art coordinator.

During these times of social distancing, experiencing public art in person can be challenging. Fortunately, this time of quarantine has given our staff the opportunity to cultivate a more digitally driven interaction with Scottsdale’s public art collection: downloadable public art coloring pages created by our very own Scottsdale Public Art staff!

We have come up with a fun activity that allows you to make the public art collection your own while learning a bit about each piece.

Every week, we will publish a Scottsdale Public Art POP Quiz with three questions for you to answer. Just like in middle school social studies, this is an open book quiz! Every answer can be found on our website on the permanent art webpage. If you get all the questions correct, you will be rewarded with a printable, 8.5 x 11-inch, public artwork coloring page.

Collect all coloring pages and complete your very own Public Art Quarantine Coloring Book!

Another Scottsdale Public Art family member tries out the Garden of Evidence by Dennis Oppenheim coloring page. Coloring page created by Kayla Newnam, artist and installation coordinator.

Click on the link below to start the first quiz and collect your coloring page. When you finish the quiz and see the coloring page, make sure to save the page as an image. There is no “download” link. You can take the quiz now:
